For the record, The Future came thru our spot Monday and killed! ( That means he had a Great Show!) Thanks to all of our supporters who came out, bought an album, and weren’t shy when we passed the hat around.
The Future’s third album, The Darker Side of Black is out now. I recommend this album to anyone looking for a primer on the growing Poetry/Spoken Word scene. He shoots a couple rounds over the heads of slam competitors and promoters who are turning Poetry into another commercial venture for The Man.
