THE HYLIFE

Oh Dear Summer,

We barely knew you. Time passed so fast. We spent the better half of this summer gearing up for one Hell of a Fall Season. But before we get to Fall 2007 we have to end Summer 2007 with a Bang!!!

It all comes to a head this September! September 15-16 (Saturday and Sunday), Hylife Poetry will be performing at Art-o-Matic 419. We’ll be on the main stage Sat. at 4pm and in the Poetry Room (aka the Boody Room…i bulls$$t you not!) at 9pm. Throughout the day we’ll be performing live from our room (100-3). We’ll be digitally recording featured poets with LIVE PAINTINGS created by local fine artists. Stay tuned for further details.

We’ll be closing out the month of September with our featured poets of the month Raenaldo Torres and Nfared out of Atlanta Georgia!!!! Raenaldo is a phenomenal poet I had the pleasure of meeting in a Poetry Slam in VA. I’m anxious to bring him to the Glass City to show him some authentic Mid West Hospitality.

And that’s a rap on Summer 07. Dope Poets, Dope Poems!! What more do yall want!!???
