This fresh summer salad fed 8 children! 6 of my own and 2 guests. Some children cringe when they hear about salads and lettuce and things. So a long time ago, i figured out ways to present vegetables to them so they would eat them AND love them. Today all of my children will eat salads without fussing or complaining.
The Ingredients:
1 package of Romaine and Red lettuce
1/2 of one 16oz package of thick sliced smoked turkey breast, diced
1 16oz package of shredded cheese
2 large tomatoes
croutons
pretzels
various salad dressing
